Steve Freides

J S Bach Prelude from Cello Suite #1
Performed by Steve Freides

"Without A Song"
Performed by Steve Freides

"Without A Song" has been performed and recorded in every style
imaginable - fast, slow, Latin. This is my quiet take on the tune, which is one of my all-time favorites.

Music by Vincent Youmans,
Lyrics by Billy Rose and Edward Eliscu
Published in 1929
First recorded by Perry Como in 1951

"Andante", from the well-known guitar method
Opus 27, by Ferdinando Carulli (1770-1841)

I played a piece simply titled, "Andante"
which is a tempo (speed)
indicator more than an actual title, but that's because it's

from Carulli's guitar method, Opus 27

"Frederick Noad - Classical Guitar Exercises" are simple pieces for two classical guitars, one each intended for student and teacher.  The performers are Mr. John Clary, and me.
John is playing an instrument made by Australian luthier John Price,
and I am playing a Dieter Hopf.  The recordings were made with a Zoom
H2, a small portable recorder with built-in microphones, sitting on
the music stand in front of us.

Hope you enjoy them.
